Suzannah Sinclair is a painter living in the rural Maine woods, aka the ‘Williwags’. This first volume draws from an ever-expanding observation of her life there. Rendering moments and objects in egg tempera, her work connects with the collective unconscious, stirring a familiar, déjà-vu nostalgia.

Williwags, Volume 1 + Piscataquis Regional Food Center — add $5 to your purchase to support Piscataquis Regional Food Center. They deliver food boxes and farm-fresh produce to low-income, homebound individuals throughout the Maine Highlands region and also provide storage and light processing space for small farms and food entrepreneurs.

This project is supported in part by The Maine Arts Commission, which receives support in part from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

Founded by Suzannah Sinclair—collaborator, facilitator, and painter—from her home office/studio at the dead end of a dirt road in the Maine woods
